Meditation of the Heart
We all experience times of trial, dismay and challenge. During these times, we come to feel and think “some kind of way.” As we journey, let us not be swept away or distracted by that which has come for but a moment but let us keep our hearts and minds on He who is eternal; He who holds and keeps us; He who is our solid Rock. It is in him that we will stand for the trial, dismay and challenge have nothing on nor can it compete nor defeat…He who is the one true living God…Our God.
Psalms 23:4 “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Let us pray…
“Lord, though darkness may surround me, you are my light. Though my enemy attacks from all sides, you are my fence, my barrier. Though sickness and disease plague the land, you are my health. Though confusion desires to distract me, you are my peace and my comfort. It is for such a time as this…I must know…you are with me always.”
God is calling us into a closer, deeper, and sincere relationship with him. Won’t you come?
