Job 22: 21-26 says, “Submit to God and be at peace with him; in this way prosperity will come to you. Accept instruction from his mouth and lay up his words in your heart. If you return to the Almighty, you will be restored: If you remove wickedness far from your tent and assign your nuggets to the dust, your Ophir to the rocks in the ravines, then the Almighty will be your gold, the choicest silver for you. Surely then you will find delight in the Almighty and will lift up your face to God.”
Let the saints of God, the believers and receivers of his holy word, of his name…say Amen. Let us come into agreement with the character, the way and the things of God. Let us come to love as he has loved us. Let us encourage as he has encouraged us. Let us strengthen as he has given us courage. Let us comfort as he has loved and kept us. Let us do that which pleases him, from one obstacle to the next, from one opportunity to the next…Let us not only say Amen to his word but let us “be” the Amen.
We must bless the Lord today for his call on our lives. He is calling us to purpose and value, to meaning and wisdom. In this, he is calling us to die to ourselves, our self-centered thinking and behavior so that we may live the true abundant life of riches in him. He is calling us to love and to be obedient. For as we love him, we become obedient due to our desire to please and serve him in spirit and in truth.
And, let us be sure…of and in God. The eyes of man are faulty but the face of God is sure. Man will lead you to believe many things and to do many things that will fail you but in God you can be sure of him, of his word, of his promises. He is faithful. God is holy and in his presence is where we must desire to be…so that we may be sure.

As we become sure of ourselves and who we are in God, then we are able to see, love and consider the need of others. It is here that we enter into true praise and worship to God…as we render unto others as he has rendered unto us. Amen.
